Android sdk 1.5 on Netbeans

with one comment

Finally I was able to add the android sdk 1.5 platform on netbeans 6.5. Thanks to Project Kenai who released update 0.7 of their nbandroid plugin.
Earlier versions of their plugin can only read the structures of old android platforms (sdk 1.0).

You can visit http://kenai.com/projects/nbandroid/ for more details.
Though the recommended IDE for android development is Eclipse, it would still be convenient for those who are more comfy with the netbeans environment.
Should bugs occur during development, I would clean up my disk and install Eclipse.

  1. You can get the virtual machine for Android and run it on virtualbox so you have a similar environment as the mobile phone. 😀
