We finally had our wrap-up meeting with maam jocelyn a while ago at the College of Music Library.

We have finally settled on catering Grade 4 public elementary students. They will be our respondents of our 3-part testing which shall be discussed later.

She also agreed upon our game storyboard. The game basically has 3 mini-games, tackling 3 of the most important aspects of music: Rhythm, Pitch, and Melody. Aside from making the games very interesting yet informative (she wanted to put there the objective of the game first before a player could play it), she wanted to incorporate a Filipino touch to the game, such as using our folk songs as pieces in the melody part. This is indeed nice, not only making students learn basic music, but also letting them appreciate our culture. She also said she’ll be sending us folk song pieces from her collection. Wee!

The testing part has finally been clear to us. The 3 part testing includes a pre-test (given by teacher), testing of the game, and a post-test (same exam as the pre-test), all tackling on the same set of topics. Glad she’ll be handling all these. 🙂

So what’s next for us? The super mega ultra titanic implementation part. 😀 haha.
