Something useful I saw, we could use it for the view, one needs the bearing set to align it to that direction, so when used together with Android’s device to get the current bearing, updating it always, it could be used in real time.

  2. I browsed through the downloadable code from the book,Professional Android Application Development by Meier, which has the codes for chapter activities.

    I still have to find out if its usable though, attaching to it bearing values.
    Basically its a canvas object which is rotated depending on the bearing inputted in the .setBearing(//num here); function. The round canvas is rotated so that the reading (uppermost center) is the same as the bearing inputted.
