…for the Twitter4J website to go down! I wanted to see the documentation so I could see which method to use to be able to invite friends (a feature of our app).

The first step would be to get a list of friends using twitter.getFriends() and invite them one by one but I am getting that any method that gets Friends is deprecated.

Using the auto-complete method in Eclipse to find the right method is a bit long and tiresome and all I wanted to do is a simple lookup.

Gaaah! Next move? We’ll probably send a tweet inviting people to be able to join Hard-Wire instead of sending messages directly to each of the a user’s followers.

Which leads me to think that directing each user isn’t allowed in Twitter! So this is probably a blessing in disguise. 😀
