Computer Science is not simply programming

Hardwire Overhauled

I broke our code after assimilating changes in our new domain model.

After having a hard look at the system afterward, I though the only sane thing to do was to build some of the features from scratch. So yes except for the minor features (Google login, Google Docs authorization, Twitter profile), I am redoing one major feature I did last sem, the create a module feature.

It wasn’t a hard decision to make because I knew somewhere along the way I would have to take down the Spring Controller for the create a module feature and replace it with client side code…that and with the ability to drag and drop bookmarks (learning resources) from one’s social bookmarking networks (Diigo, Digg, Delicious, Technorati) and add them as a learning resource.

So I wasted no time in working on the create a module feature so I can get back to our create a project feature right away.

As of today, I have already come up with the forms really dynamic forms like in our create a project feature and most especially I have implemented a client side save function.

Screenshots in my next blogpost. 😀
