Joan and I decided to change the look of our first game (again). After a consultation with our resident artist Angge, we settled with rounded-edge squares and rectangles (drawn in Paint) and the yellow-green color scheme. Below’s the result of our er, artistic efforts. And I have to say, it’s so much better than the first and the second designs. Looks much cleaner and less cluttered, too. The first is still the hardest

We presented our almost complete first game yesterday. Much to our consternation there were still a million things that we had overlook and one of them was the main point of our thesis: reusability.
And having overlooked that we might just have to rewrite the first game. Ugh.

“Here Comes our First” Series :4. (Creative Powers, Pliz?)

Our game/program:

1. must be able to display the question.

2. must be able to get input via drag and drop

3. must be able to determine if the answer was correct or not

4. must be able to display the correct number of points

5. must be able to get the timer working and the time left displayed

“Here Comes our First” Series :3. (Dragging and Dropping Fail.)

Joan was finally able to make drag and drop work (with the mouse). We integrated her work and mine and *poof*… we got a working game (minus the wii).
