Summary:
In making an electronic medical records system, the interface of the software must also be taken into consideration. It must be easy for doctors or hospital staff to input or output pertinent information. The software should also be easily maintained. PedOne is a web-based system designed for hospital staff of a private practice. Implemented using MySQL, Perl, JavaScript, HTML and CSS, PedOne boasts not only of its good interface but also of its fast execution. It can work on any web browser, but developers prefer it to be opened on a Mozilla Firefox browser. It has a clean layout with error-checking abilities to ensure the correctness of information. Patient search can be done with a click, and results are immediately generated. The interface of PedOne makes it easy for doctors and nurses to record a patient’s documentation.
