1 or 2?

During a brainstorming, we come up with a question on the ‘project packaging’.. Do we have to create one ‘project package’ wherein the user will choose which tool to use, wii or sunspot? OR  do we have to create separate packages, one for wii component and one for sunspot?  hmmhhh..

Kinespell on Wiimote

leave a comment »

Finally, Kinespell with the Wiimote component is already working.  We use the Wiiusej library to connect the Wiimote and as for the blue tooth, we use the Widcomm bluetooth stack.:D

Our problem now is whether to have a single program with an option on which tool the user would like to use or to have two separate program-one for Sunspot and one for Wiimote…

Finally! The SPOT component of our thesis is DONE! Complete with all its new features and with acceptable waiting time. But like all other program, we still have to test it more extensively to look for bugs and to make necessary improvements.

Next Step, WiiMote Component! More sleepless nights, overnights, tears and sad moments for sure, but we will keep on going! Gogogo!

Last presentation, my partner and I showed what we have worked on for 2 days and 2 nights: the extra random letter and the recording of words. The next task that we are going to work on will be Kinespell 2+SunSpot and also Kinespell+Wii. We also plan to update our Wiki (apparently, we lack on entries :p).

Stay tuned for some updates….

Installation Under Windows Vista is not currently supported“… The orange version of SunSpot is not yet supported in Vista, fine! But I am having problems installing SunSpot Purple in Vista as well. It keeps on asking me to install jdk, netbeans etc. I already change the PATH but still, not working.

Solution: will change my OS to Windows XP for now.
